British Private Equity Awards

3i wins Mid-Market Buyout House of the Year

3i's consistent winning run of industry awards continued in November 2008, when it was voted Mid Market House of the Year at the British Private Equity Awards. The judges noted that:

"Synonymous with the mid-market, 3i won kudos for “retaining its strategy” in today’s market." What also impressed judges was 3i’s in-house banking team. Established in 2005, the team helps 3i to be strongly placed among the increasingly fragile international banking community. In addition, it was noted that: "The group's global network is among the most impressive in the industry, and that puts its target companies in a strong position to utilise countless synergies".

The British Private Equity Awards are managed by Unquote" and celebrate excellence and innovation in the dynamic UK private equity sector.

AES

It has gone out of its way to meet the highest quality standards and ensure that these standards are fully integrated into its management philosophy, systems and the decision making process. In so doing, the company has reduced its carbon footprint by 75%.  The company's CEO is the principal architect and driver behind the firm’s wetlands wildlife sanctuary project which is located at the company’s headquarters.
