Biography

Dorothea joined 3i at the beginning of 2001 and has more than ten years experience in managing people networks and executive search. She started her career at the publishing house Bibliographisches Institut & F.A. Brockhaus AG before joining Ray & Berndston as consultant. She then moved on to the Swedish venture capital business Speed Ventures where she focused on helping portfolio companies from abroad set up in Germany. Dorothea is focused on the four key board roles: chairmen; chief executives; finance directors; and non-executive directors. Her geographic focus is the German Speaking area as well as the Nordic region and she is responsible for the development and management of the Business Leaders Network for 3i's Infrastructure business in Europe. She has an MBA from the Berufsakademie Ravensburg.
