Our investment decisions are influenced as much by environmental, ethical and social matters as they are the numbers.

As you would expect we have well developed processes and policies. However our experience is that employing people with good values and giving them opportunities to help us shape our approach is the key to achieving our goals in this area.

We regularly measure what the various groups of people who deal with 3i think of us and adapt whenever required. The engagement of our staff is measured on a regular basis and we have been delighted that it has been consistently high for many years.
