Our people

Menno Antal joined 3i in 2000. He has been a key member of the teams working on several of the Benelux team’s buyouts including Action, Element Materials Technology (formerly SMT), VNU Media, Dockwise, Refresco, ABX, Hyva, UTT, Malmberg, De Telefoongids and YBR.

Menno is part of the 3i Leadership Team, having been MD for the Benelux since 2003 and having reshaped and been responsible for the sector organisation. He is in charge of the Benelux, Germany and the Nordic region and has overall responsibility for 3i's buyout funds. Prior to joining 3i, Menno held a broad range of international managerial positions within Heineken.  He has an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland. Menno currently sits on the Board of Action and OneMed and formerly sat on the Board of Directors of Dockwise, ABX Logistics, Refresco, De Telefoongids and YBR.
