Biography

Mr. Nikhil Gahrotra joined 3i in May 2007, from Q Investments, and is based in Mumbai. He was instrumental in establishing the India office for Q Investments, a $4 billion US based multi-strategy fund. At Q, he was focused on private equity and structured investing across sectors. Prior to joining Q Investments, Nikhil was with Citigroup’s investment banking team in India where he advised on M&A and equity/ equity-linked capital raising for some of India’s largest companies. Nikhil completed his Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University with a distinction. In addition he graduated in the Dean's List in the MBA program offered by the Indian School of Business, where he specialized in Finance and Technology.
