Pieter is a partner and joined 3i in 2004. He led the investment in Electrawinds (B) and Refresco (NL). Pieter sits on the board of the Refresco (NL) and Kneip (Lux). He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, management and operations. He started his career at Stork in the USA, before joining the Van Den Boom Groep, a corporate finance consulting firm in the Benelux, where he became partner responsible for M&A. After selling the company to NIB Capital Bank, Pieter headed the Advisory department. Before joining 3i, Pieter was managing director of Eiffel, a specialist service provider in Legal and Finance. Pieter is responsible for minority investments in growing businesses in the Benelux. Further he focuses on industrials and the energy sector . Pieter has an MBA degree from Georgia State University (USA) and a BBA degree from Nijenrode University (Netherlands).
