In the last decade we have invested over US$300m in South East Asia and Japan. We plan to invest a further US$1billion in Asia over the next three years. In South East Asia we have made over 18 direct investments, recent realisations have been through both a successful trade sale and a large secondary buyout.  We have been active in Japan since 1990 through IBJ & Mizuho and MKS, one of Japan’s leading mid market Private Equity funds.

We have invested across a number of sectors,  Oil and Gas, Food & Drink, Telecommunications, ESAT, Retail Distribution and Rubber and Plastics Manufacturing. We also focus on other Consumer related goods, Logistics and Financial Services.

An Outstanding Portfolio Business
Last year we invested in Salamander Energy, an international Oil & Gas exploration and production business.  We have already invested US$22m and plan to assist the company to prepare and complete a successful lPO.
