Acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited by 3i Group plc

In November 2013, 3i Group plc acquired Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited (“BIFM”), which was the European infrastructure funds management business of Barclays Bank plc. The business has been active in PPP and lower risk energy infrastructure investment and infrastructure funds management since its establishment in 1996.

Below is a summary of the six funds raised by the BIFM business, including BIIF and BEIF II which 3i infrastructure now manages (see Investing vehicles)
