We have an established on-the-ground presence in 11 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas which enables us to work closely with management teams to accelerate their international growth plans.

This rich international network together with the calibre of our people delivers the insight and capability necessary to identify and partner with ambitious market-leading businesses.

Investment Strategy

We provide tailored investment solutions for a variety of situations. Access to 3i’s balance sheet capital and LP funds gives us significant flexibility in terms of both financing deals and the length of time we hold our investments.

  • We back entrepreneurs and management teams of mid-market companies with an EV typically between €100m to €500m
  • We provide access to our international network and local market insight, to accelerate international growth
  • We have the flexibility to invest in both majority and minority situations
  • We look for situations where we can enhance and drive value growth e.g. expanding sales into new regions, buy and build opportunities,  offshoring manufacturing and sourcing international suppliers

We focus on four core sectors in which we have a proven track record of investment and a deep international network of contacts.

These are Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare and Industrial.
