Carlos joined 3i’s London-based Banking team in 2006. As part of this team, he worked on a number of transactions including Element, Inspicio, Action and Mémora Inversiones Funerarias. In August 2012, Carlos joined 3i’s Brazilian Private Equity team, based in Sao Paulo.

Prior to 3i, Carlos worked at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, where he held different roles within Leveraged Finance and Loan Syndicate, both in London and Madrid. Carlos started his career at JPMorgan where he was part of the 2000 Analyst Graduate class.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in Lisbon.
