Rémi is currently Head of France where he leads our Private Equity activity.
He has been involved in several transactions in the Service and Industrial sectors. In 2010 he led 3i’s investment in Vedici (French group of private clinics) and Trescal (global leader in calibration services). He supported the latter in its acquisition strategy across Europe and its expansion into the US. In 2011 Rémi led 3i’s investment in Etanco (French and Italian leader in construction fastening systems for roofs, facades etc.). He currently sits on the boards of Vedici, Etanco and Loxam. In 2012 he was a member of the GEKA deal team (cosmetic packaging specialist). Geka is an international business with customers in France and plants in Germany and the US.
Previous successful deals Rémi has led include Ineum (consulting) and Keolis (public transport) in which he supported the management in several acquisitions and some major transformation projects in Europe. Rémi has also contributed to deals outside France, including Inspecta (Testing & Inspection; Nordics), Inspicio (Testing & Inspection; UK) and the successful restructuring of Aviapartner (Ground Handling; Benelux).
Prior to joining 3i in 2003, he founded and headed a French venture capital firm in Tunisia and spent three years with McKinsey. Rémi has a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Paris Business School (ESCP) and an executive MBA (sponsored by McKinsey).
