Biography
André has been a Director at 3i since 2001 and he has more than twelve years of international business experience.
Prior to joining 3i, André worked at DG Bank as a consultant and worked for the purchasing department of Volkswagen AG in Germany, Spain and Mexico. André specialises in buyout investments across Europe and he is also a member of 3i's consumer products and general industrial sector teams. Key deals, that he has been involved in, include the successful acquisitions of Lichtwer Pharma AG, betapharm GmbH, Jung Pumpen GmbH and Scandlines AG.
André represented 3i as a member of the board of Lichtwer Pharma GmbH in Berlin until the recent successful exit from this
investment. Cuurently, Andre is appointed member of the board of 3i's portfolio company DC Druckchemie.
Andre holds a masters degree from the TU Braunschweig in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
