Andrew joined 3i in November 2006 having spent three years with Ambac Assurance in London leading an initiative to expand their franchise into the Continental European infrastructure market and latterly heading up their European Utilities team. Previously, he worked for six years in the Schroder Salomon Smith Barney Infrastructure Advisory Group, where he worked on transactions both domestically and internationally, on the buy-side and the sell-side, covering the roads, airports, power, water and waste sectors.

Andrew has an MA in History from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
