As Managing Director for 3i Debt Management Andrew has operational responsibility for the Debt Management team. Andrew joined 3i as Banking Partner in 2005 and was responsible for overseeing the firm’s relationships with its banks. He was also involved in the acquisition of Mizuho Investment Management from Mizuho Corporate Bank, which has been merged with 3i’s existing Debt Management activity to create 3i Debt Management. Prior to joining 3i, Andrew had c20 years of banking experience, having started his career at Continental Bank in 1985. He subsequently worked in both loan syndications and leveraged finance at Samuel Montagu, Barclays Capital and Bank of America. At Barclays Capital he held various positions including Head of Leveraged Loans and Head of Leveraged Finance for Continental Europe.
