Blair McCallum joined 3i in October 2007. He is the Partner responsible for active ownership within 3i's Portfolio.

Before joining 3i, Blair was a Partner in McKinsey & Company where he founded and managed their Production System Design Centre- A series of global offices designed to build McKinsey's institutional capability to consult effectively in operational change whilst delivering impactful, sustainable, and scalable results.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Blair spent 14 years working in the Automotive Industry in Senior and General Management positions.

Whilst Working for Toyota, Blair was responsible for applying the Toyota Production System (TPS) within their supply base.

He studied Production Engineering at Brookes University, Oxford.
