Boris Kawohl joined 3i in 2005. He focuses on growth capital investments.

He has worked on 3i's investment in Electrawinds, a Belgium renewable energy developer. Prior to 3i, he worked in the corporate finance department at ABN AMRO and at N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie during the de-merger of the company.

Boris studied Economics at the Rijksuniversiteit in Groningen (The Netherlands), at the University of Tennessee (US) and at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel (Germany).
