Biography
Colin joined 3i in 1999 from Deloitte & Touche. He spent the first two years of his 3i career in the Oil & Gas team where he was involved with a mixture of new investment and portfolio management. Having spent two years in 3i's Northern Team, based in Leeds, he has rejoined the Oil & Gas team to lead new investment. Colin focuses on Oil & Gas investments across Europe. Key deals that Colin has been involved in include Target Energy, provider of directional drilling technology, and Sensa, provider of downhole measurement systems, which was sold to Schlumberger in November 2001.Colin has a BA (Honours) degree from The Robert Gordon University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
