Biography

David joined 3i in 2000 as part of the US Venture Capital team and joined the Growth Capital team in 2008. He focuses on all aspects of the Internet, software and semiconductor industries and also has extensive transactional experience in equity corporate finance, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. David has been involved with investments in BlueLithium, Forte Design Systems, Home Décor Products, RGM, Speakeasy, CoreMetrics, Demand Media, Fotolog, Omniture and Vonage.

Prior to 3i, David spent three years as vice president in technology investment banking at Robertson Stephens. David also worked as a corporate lawyer at Ropes & Gray and Sidley & Austin.

David earned his JD from Stanford Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College. He currently serves on the Boards of Home Décor Products and RGM.
