Biography

Erkki joined 3i in January 2006. Prior to joining, he has worked in the investment banking division of Citigroup in London as well for Summa Capital in Helsinki. Erkki has experience from a wide range of transactions across several product areas including equity offerings, debt as well as both buy-side and sell-side acquisitions. In London he worked with many technology companies in the communications equipment and software sectors.

Recently Erkki was involved in the €140m investment in DNA and he is actively involved in the asset management of DNA, Halti and DIAB. He is currently on the board of Halti.

Erkki has an MSc in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki. He is also completing his PhD studies that focus on European private equity markets.
