Biography
Erkki joined 3i in January 2006. Prior to joining 3i, his professional experience includes corporate finance work primarily in the investment banking division of Citigroup in London. Erkki has experience from a wide range of transactions across several industry sectors.
Erkki’s investment experience spans over a number of 3i cases in the Nordics and other parts of Europe. He works closely with Nordic portfolio companies Eltel, Halti and Kemfine and he serves on the boards of directors of Halti and Kemfine. He has worked with a number of former 3i investments including Diab, DNA, Empower and Suomen Terveystalo.
Erkki has an MSc in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki. He is also completing his PhD studies that focus on European private equity markets.
