Biography

Etienne Couelle has joined 3i in January 2006, as Director with the French Growth Capital Team. He has played an active role in the Consultim/Cerenicimo investment. Etienne is an observer on Transport Alloin's board and the Vice-President of Soflog-Telis' advisory board. From 1988 to 1995, he worked for KPMG Peat Marwick Consultants as a manager with the 'Service, Strategy and Performance Management Group'. Etienne then spent ten years with family-owned François-Charles Oberthur Group, heading various business units and divisions both in North America and France, and was a member of the group's executive committee. Throughout his career, Etienne has developed expertise in the industrial and technology sectors, as well as in the management of North-American and global operations. Etienne is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris and ESIEA schools.
