Biography
Florence joined 3i in Milan in 1998.
Before that she worked for 3 years in PwC Corporate Finance in Milan.
Florence’s investment track record includes the buyout of Datamat, the leading independent IT Services & Software group in Italy. After the MBO, she worked full time in the company in order to manage the listing of Datamat on the Milan Stock Exchange just 9 months after the investment. She subsequently joined the company as CFO, where she was responsible in particular of strategic and financial planning, M&A and Investor Relations. She was also responsible for the entire reshuffle of the company’s shareholding structure, organizing 3i exit in December 2003 as well as the exit of the founding shareholders through a friendly takeover bid from Finmeccanica in July 2005.
Florence then returned to Paris and joined back 3i in October. As Business Development Director for the LBO team, she has overall responsibility for sector-based systematic origination and research activities.
Florence has a degree from French business school “Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims” and a BA in European Business Administration form London Middlesex University.
