Our people

Giovanna joined 3i in 2008 and is an Associate Director in the German Buyout Team where she focuses on the Industrials & Energy sector. Giovanna was active in the portfolio management and divestment of MWM (formerly Deutz Power Systems) where she served on the Board. Giovanna was also involved in the acquisition of Hilite.

Prior to joining 3i, Giovanna worked for McKinsey concentrating on Corporate Finance and Financial Institutions. Before McKinsey, Giovanna worked in M&A with Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt and London.

Giovanna holds a Master of Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi in Italy and a BSc in Economics from Lancaster University in England.
