Our people

Gordon is a Director in the UK Private Equity business. Over the last 13 years he has specialised in originating and investing in private companies seeking to accelerate their organic and acquisitive growth, both in the UK and across Europe.

Gordon worked in North West England and Central Scotland before moving to London in 2004. He has led and played a key role in a wide range of investments including ARM Services, Magic4, Local Press, Canvas Holidays and Telecity Redbus. Recent investments have been minority investments in Hyperion, AESSEAL and MKM Building Supplies.

Prior to 3i Gordon spent five years with Arthur Andersen , is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
