Biography
Gustav Bard joined 3i in 2001 when it acquired Atle, where he had worked since 1999.
Gustav is based in Stockholm as Managing Director of 3i Nordic. He also heads the buyout business in the Nordic region and is involved in buyout transactions on a pan-European basis.
Gustav has played a major role in acquiring a.o. Ambea, Coor Services, Pharmadule, Gant, KemFine, Damcos, ABA, Eltel, Inspecta, Scandlines and Lekolar. His track record also includes investments in Growth Capital companies such as Boxer and HTC. Gustav is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Ambea, Eltel, Pharmadule and Scandlines.
Gustav was Chief Executive of Atle Mergers & Acquisitions, the buyout business of Atle. Prior to Atle, he was a partner at McKinsey & Co. Gustav has a masters degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and a degree from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris.
