Biography

Hans joined 3i in the summer of 2000, and is an investment Director in the Oil & Gas team. Prior to moving to Aberdeen he spent two and a half years in 3i's Stockholm office and six months in the head-office in London.  Hans started his career in the City of London where he spent four years in the bond markets with Williams de Broe and Commerzbank.  Hans focuses on Oil & Gas opportunities accross Europe.  Key deals that Hans has been involved in include Revus Energy, a start-up exploration and production company (first 3i investment in Norway), Noreco, Reservoir Exploration Technology (RXT) and Dockwise/Sealift, the world's largest heay lift transportation company. Hans has served on the boards of amongs others Revus, Noreco, Epcon Offshore and DES. He has an extensive network of business contacts in the Norwegian market place and othe majorEuropean oil and gas markets. Hans has a Master of Economics from Fribourg, Switzerland, and an MBA from London Business School.
