Hayo joined 3i in 2005 and focuses on European buyouts. Investments that Hayo has been involved in include NORMA Group and add-on investments into ABA, Breeze and R.G.Ray, forming a leader in engineered joining technology as well as its IPO, Azelis, a Pan-European distributor of specialty chemicals, Scandlines, a baltic ferry operator and DruckChemie, a service company for the printing industry.

Before joining 3i Hayo has been working five years at the M&A and Corporate Finance Department of Dresdner Kleinwort where he was involved in various M&A, ECM and restructuring transactions. Prior to that, he worked for two years at Dresdner Kleinwort's Global Equities Division and previously headed the Derivatives Department of a broker firm. Hayo holds a degree in Business Administration and is a CFA charterholder and a CLSSBB.
