Biography

James joined 3i in 1998 and he has been a Portfolio Manager since 2003.  He started his career at PiMS UK, a London based media services company, where he headed up the financial services account team. James subsequently joined the 3i South East team as a portfolio executive, before moving to the London portfolio management team in 2001.

James has more than five years experience of managing growth capital and buyout assets across a wide range of sectors, including a number within the food & drink, media and support services areas. He has both invested in, and supported, companies at various stages of growth. He has also completed a number of successful investment realisations.
