Jan-Olivier joined 3i in 2007 and focuses on late stage private equity investments. Recent deals in which Jan-Olivier has been involved include the acquisition of Vedici (French acute care company) and the refinancing of VNU Media (Dutch careers classified and B2B magazines group).

Prior to joining 3i, Jan-Olivier worked in investment banking at Jefferies Broadview where he focused on media and technology. Jan-Olivier advised on a number of transactions, including Microsoft's acquisition of ScreenTonic, Amdoc’s acquisition of Cramer and Wavecom’s acquisition of the M2M Communications Business Unit of Sony Ericsson. Prior to joining Jefferies Broadview, Jan-Olivier held software development positions at Roche (US) and Ascom (Switzerland).

Education: Msc. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics; Msc. in Communication Systems from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL).
