Our people

Javier joined 3i in 2011. Based in the Madrid office, he focuses on Growth Capital as well as Buyouts, and is involved in the development of Prisa Radio, Everis, Café y Te and La Sirena.

Prior to joining 3i, Javier worked at the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch in London, providing Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) advisory services for companies within the Telecommunication, Media and Technology sectors. Javier also completed an internship at Merrill Lynch in London during the summer prior to his graduation, gaining exposure to the Financial Institutions, Consumer Retail and Energy & Power sectors. He also worked in the M&A advisory unit of Santander Investment.

Javier, who speaks English and Spanish, holds a first class honours degree in Business Administration from ICADE (Madrid).
