Biography

Jean-David joined 3i in 2004 as head of the Venture Capital team in Paris and became part of the Growth Capital team in 2008. He has more than twenty years of experience in the IT industry. Jean-David has a strong network in the systems integrator world, as well as numerous connections in the internet, telecom and software community, both in Europe and in Silicon Valley. Key deals with which he has been involved include Okyz (acquired by Adobe), SeLoger.com (listed on EuroNext) and ScreenTonic (acquired by Microsoft).

Jean-David started his career at CapGemini where, in his last position, he was in charge of Internet related business and founded the Cap Gemini Telemedia Lab in Silicon Valley. His first experience in private equity was as CTO of Europatweb in 2000 and then as a partner at Viventures.

Jean-David attended the Ecole Polytechnique. He has served on the Board of twenty independent software vendors and internet companies in France, Sweden and the US and currently sits on the Boards of Fastbooking, Highdeal, PriceMinister and Twenga.
