Our people

John joined 3i in 2010 and focuses on originating and executing private equity investments across a range of industry sectors, primarily within the UK. Recent deals he has been involved with include the acquisition of Element Materials Technology (formerly SMT), a leading provider of materials testing services.

Prior to joining 3i, John worked at Ernst & Young where he spent time in the M&A, restructuring and financial due diligence teams.

John is a Chartered Accountant and has a BSc in Economics from Nottingham University.
