Biography

Kimmo joined 3i's Helsinki office as an investment manager in 2000, where he worked for four years before joining the Stockholm office in April 2004. Prior to 3i, Kimmo was a partner at Finnish technology venture capital company SFK Finance, which was acquired by 3i in June 2000. Before moving to the venture capital industry, Kimmo worked as a business analyst focusing mainly on technology start-ups. Kimmo specialises in information technology investments across Europe. He serves as a board member at Sulake Corporation Oy and Redlynx Oy. He is an observer on the board of Telcogames ltd. Until recently the portfolio included Wicom Communications Oy, which was sold to SAP AG and Nordnav Technologies AB, sold to Cambridge Silicon Radio plc. Kimmo has an MSc in Economics from Helsinki School of Economics
