Biography

Lars Erik has been an investment director at 3i since 2001, and he has more than ten years of investment experience. He started his career at Kylma as a financial controller, before joining Lagerstedt & Krantz as CFO (both are industrial components companies). After this he joined the finance group, Optimum, as CFO with responsibility for group funds. In 1993, he joined Produra, a private equity company that was later acquired by Atle in 1998. Lars Erik specialises in growth capital, but he also has experience of buyouts. Key deals that he has been involved in include: ABA, a manufacturer of hose and pipe clamps; Ålö, a manufacturer of front-end loaders for tractors; and Balco, a manufacturer of glassed-in balconies for apartments.Lars Erik has served on the boards of more than 15 companies and he is currently serving on the boards of ABA and Ålö.He has a MBA from the University of Stockholm with a specialisation in accounting and financing.
