Biography

Machtelt joined the 3i Benelux Buyout Team in October 2006. Before joining 3i, she worked for Taros Capital (formerly: AlpInvest Partners Buyout Team). At AlpInvest, she was involved in the Public-to-Private transaction of Delft Instruments and the exit of Euromate. She was a Board member of Euromate and Raet.

Machtelt started her career at McKinsey & Co in the Amsterdam and Beijing offices. She studied Economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has an MBA from INSEAD.
