Biography

As a Partner Marco is responsible for leading the development of 3i's Growth Capital activity in Italy.

Marco's investment track record includes the buyouts of Giochi Preziosi (toys), Fomec (steel forge), Dobell (writing instruments), La Chemial (chemicals) and Nolan (safety helmets), as well as Growth Capital investments like Targetti Poulsen (lighting), Onama (catering services) and Finder (process pumps). Marco currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Giochi Preziosi and of Targetti, and has previously been on other Boards on behalf of 3i.

Marco began his career in 3i in 1994. In 1996, he was seconded to 3i’s Edinburgh office, where he gained experience of investments in the UK market. He returned to 3i’s Milan office in 1997.

Marco has a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and had previously worked in corporate finance with Eptaconsors.
