Biography

Mark joined 3i in 1995. He spent five years in the UK before joining 3i’s Asia Pacific business where he played a lead role in the opening of 3i’s Hong Kong office, managed 3i’s Japanese business and now co-heads 3i’s Asia business based in Singapore. Mark focuses on investments in mid market buyouts and growth capital transactions. Key deals that he has been involved in include Asia Capital Re, Salamander Energy, Pearl Energy, Vantec, CJ CGV, IndiaReit and Franklin Offshore.

Prior to joining 3i, Mark worked at Arthur Andersen in London before transferring to Poland for 2 years, where he helped establish Andersen's Warsaw office. Mark holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Finance and Accounting from Salford University and is a qualified chartered accountant. Mark sits on the Board of ACR and is a member of the investment committee for IndiaReit.
