Our people

Mattias Eklund has been employed at 3i since the acquisition of Atle in 2001. Mattias focuses on Nordic buyouts. While he works on opportunities in most sectors, he specialises in the consumer and business service sectors. He is currently a director of Onemed, Lekolar and Eltel and has served on the boards of Gant, Atea, InfoCare and Kronans Droghandel.

Prior to Atle, Mattias was a corporate business development manager at The Coca-Cola Company in the USA, advising group management on strategy and M&A opportunities.

Mattias has an MSc in Accounting & Finance and Marketing from the Stockholm School of Economics.
