Biography
Mattias Eklund joined 3i in 2001 through its acquisition of Atle AB. Mattias focuses on Nordic buyouts. While he works on opportunities in most sectors, he specialises in the consumer and media sectors. Prior to Atle, Mattias was a corporate business development manager at The Coca-Cola Company in the USA, advising group management on strategy and M&A opportunities. Mattias has an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics. He is currently a director of Lekolar and and Eltel and has been a director of Gant.
