Biography

Michiel joined 3i in 2004 and is an associate in the Asian buyouts team, on secondment from the Benelux office. Prior to joining 3i, Michiel worked in the Corporate Strategy department of Akzo Nobel, focusing on acquisitions and divestments in the chemical industry.

Deals that Michiel has been involved with include VNU Media, ABX logistics, Aviapartner and Daalderop.

Michiel studied Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management and has an MBA from INSEAD.
