Biography
Óscar joined 3i in September 2001 in the Barcelona office. He started his career at a Spanish chemicals company before joining GE where he stayed for three years. He went on to complete an MBA at IESE.
Oscar has developed an international career within 3i, having spent two years in the London office and worked in deals in Germany, Italy and India.
Oscar has been closely involved in the buyouts of NCP, Gebomsa and Ultralase. He sits on the Board of Esmalglass, a worldwide supplier of frites and glazes for the ceramic industry, Gebomsa, the leading Spanish provider of concrete pumping, and Panreac, the Spanish leader in chemical reagents.
Óscar works on investments in the industrial sector and has developed an expertise in the chemical area.
He is also a fellow of IESE business school.He has an MBA from IESE Business School and a degree in industrial chemical engineering from the University of Barcelona.
