Biography
Paul Chacko joined 3i in 2008 to help grow its buyout business in Asia. He joined 3i from Affinity Equity Partners, where he was a Director based in Singapore with regional transaction responsibilities. At Affinity, he was involved in the Leveraged Buyouts of Himart (Korea), RT Sourcing (Hong Kong), Loscam and Colorado (Australia), and was a member of the Boards of RT Sourcing, Loscam and Colorado Group.
Prior to Affinity, Paul was a Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group. He spent 6 years with BCG, starting in its Tokyo office and subsequently working in Stockholm and Singapore executing turnaround, operational improvement and strategic planning projects for clients in a range of industries.
Paul has Masters degrees from the International University of Japan and Virginia Tech, and a Bachelors degree from Madras Christian College, India.
