Our people

Paul joined 3i in September 2011 as Senior Partner and Head of Greater China. He is responsible for the development of 3i’s investment strategy and leading the firm’s private equity investments in Greater China. Prior to 3i, Paul worked at Credit Suisse for 10 and JP Morgan for 3 years in New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing in areas of investment banking and alternative investment. Paul has originated and led capital markets, restructuring and M&A assignments for many private and stated-owned enterprises across a broad range of sectors, including energy, consumer, healthcare, real estate, education, technology and general industrials.

Paul holds a BS and a MS from Peking University and a MBA and a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
