Biography
Pedro joined 3i in 2005. He focuses on buyouts transactions in Spain.
His investment track record within 3i includes the buyouts of GES (renewable energy support services - 2006), Gebomsa (construction support services – 2005) and Antichi Pellettieri / Mandarina Duck (fashion and travel bag retailer - 2008), and a minority investment in Bouncopy (sales force outsourcing for financial institutions - 2006). He is also an observer in the Board of La Sirena (frozen food retailer - 2006) and GES.
Prior to joining 3i, Pedro worked in the Spanish private equity firm Capital Alianza, where he was involved in the acquisition of Spain’s leading accessories retailer Fun & Basics among other investments. He also worked in the M&A advisory unit of Santander Investment.
Pedro gained his MBA from INSEAD (Singapore and France) in 2007 with a scholarship from the Caja Madrid Foundation, having also completed an exchange programme with the Wharton School (Philadelphia, USA). He holds degrees in Law and Business Administration from ICADE (Spain) and speaks Spanish, English and French.
