Robert has been a Sector Adviser at 3i since 1983, specialising in both the leisure and financial services sectors in the UK and continental Europe. Prior to joining 3i, he spent nearly ten years in various financial and general management roles within a number of publicly listed companies. Key recent deals that he has been involved in include Hayley Conference Centres where he is also NXD, Buy As You View, a sub prime lender,

Canvas Holidays and Smart and Cook, a UK regional insurance broker. Robert qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand and subsequently gained an MBA from Cranfield.
