Biography

Samir joined 3i in 2005. Key deals that Samir has been involved in include Mundra Port, Welspun Gujarat, TSMarine and International Tractors.

Samir started his career at Arthur Andersen in taxation consulting. He then joined Citigroup and worked there for 9 years in banking and investment banking roles focusing on oil, gas & power, technology and financial services sector.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bombay University.
