Sergi joined 3i’s venture capital team in February 2007. He is based in the Cambridge office. His main focus is on cleantech and late stage IT investments in Europe. He is also involved with several 3i portfolio companies including Cambridge Semiconductor, Reciva, Cachelogic and Light Blue Optics.

Prior to joining the venture team, Sergi spent two years as an Analyst in the 3i Marketing department and three years in research and sales positions with VentureOne, a specialist data provider for the venture industry. He was one of the early employees of VentureOne Europe when the company was backed by the Reuters Greenhouse fund.

Sergi completed his MBA at London Business School. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a BA in International Relations. Sergi speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, and can read French, Italian and Portuguese. He is passionate about football, music and technology.
