Biography

Sharad joined 3i in 2008 as a member of the Oil, Gas & Power team based in Aberdeen. He brings to the team 8 years of exploration & production (E&P) and oilfield services experience with Schlumberger. During this time he worked across Asia, North America, Europe and Africa in operating, commercial and management roles. In addition, Sharad has worked with professionals from Greylock Partners and Limerock Partners advising them on renewable energy and cleantech investments. He also has prior management consulting experience with The Boston Consulting Group.

Sharad has an MBA with academic honors from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and was a Co-President of the Energy Club while at Harvard.
