Biography
Dr. Stephan Krümmer joined 3i Germany as Managing Director beginning 2005 and has more than 20 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, top-management and investment banking. In 1983 he started his career as a consultant at Bain&Company before joining Bertelsmann AG as Executive Vice President Corporate Development in 1987. Since 1990 he took over various top management positions at Bertelsmann AG like CEO of the German speaking Book Clubs, member of the executive board of the Bertelsmann Book Group and finally CEO of the Bertelsmann Multimedia Group. Since 1998 he was Managing Director of Rothschild Germany and Head of German Investment Banking. Major deals at 3i include Norma, Scandlines and Druckchemie.

Stephan Krümmer earned an MBA from University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and a PhD in Business Administration from the same university.
