Our people

Stuart joined 3i's London office in 1995. He has worked on buyout opportunities in most Western European countries as well as a number of Eastern European ones. Notable transactions in which he has taken a leading role include SR Technics (Switzerland), Fonecta (Finland), Educational Information Group (Netherlands) and ABX Logistics (Belgium). He has also recently been involved in 3i's acquisitions of Trescal (France) and Mizuho Investment Management (UK).

Stuart is responsible for execution in the European private equity business, and is also a member of the portfolio leadership team. He continues to cover the transport & logistics sector for 3i, as well as work on buyout deals over a broad range of sectors and geographies, either as a partner on the deal team or part of the investment review group.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.
