Biography

Stuart joined 3i in 2005 and has worked in both the Munich and London offices. He specialises in healthcare investments. Stuart led a recent investment in IntelliDx Inc and has been involved in deals including Apatech, Immatics, Santhera and Zonare. He is active on the board of Apatech; a UK-based synthetic-bone graft business for spinal fusion and IntelliDx; a US-based hospital blood glucose monitoring business. Prior to joining 3i he spent four years working in R&D strategy consulting for major pharmaceutical companies in Europe, US and Japan. Stuart graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) and from Imperial College, London with a Ph.D in Immunology. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, the international business school based in France.
