Our people

Sven joined 3i in 2000 and is a Director in the Frankfurt Buyout Team and has more than 16 years of international investment experience. He started his career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants before joining Sanitec Corporation as Head of Corporate Planning and Development mainly responsible for international M&A transactions in Europe, South East Asia and Middle East. Sven focuses on the Industrial Goods and CleanTech sector in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Key deals that he has been involved in include EDS AG, Azelis SA, MIB AG, Knürr AG, Knipping Verbindungstechnik mbH and OPS Ingersoll GmbH. Sven currently sits on the boards of EDS and Azelis. He held previously board seats at MIB AG and Knürr AG.

Sven studied business economics at the University of Kiel (Dipl. Kfm.) and holds an MBA from the Florence Institute of Technology.
